Garden of Grace
Our Ministry:

-- Care Circles provide great places to find friends and ministries! These form the heart of Garden of Grace United Church of Christ. This exciting ministry allows small groups of people to gather in homes and other intimate settings throughout S.C.'s Midlands to share in prayer, devotion, and fellowship. They meet throughout the week.

• Dan’s Care Circle gathers at 6:30 p.m. 2nd and 4th Mondays, serving the St. Andrews neighborhood. He can be reached at DGRESHEL@sc.rr.com.
• Barbara’s Care Circle gathers at 7:30 p.m. second and fourth Fridays, serving Lexington County. The circle focuses on the needs of parents. Children are welcome! The circle explores “Authentic Relationships.” She can be reached at compmom1@yahoo.com.
• Reverend Candace's Care Circle: If you've ever wondered why Christians believe the things they do, but have been afraid to ask questions about the faith, join Rev. Candace for a new care circle that will focus on "faith seeking understanding." The care circle meets at 6:30 p.m. on 1st and 3rd Fridays at the church. -- Sunday Celebrations bring us together to rejoice at 11 a.m. each week. Experience Spirit-filled worship, music, and an open communion! Our growing and gifted Worship Team, led by Pastor Andy helps us experience God.

-- The Team of Trustees gathers monthly to make financial and property decisions entrusted to these faithful leaders. Pastor Andy serves as moderator of this seven-person team.

-- The Hospitality Team, led by Joe Matthews, provides friendly smiles and warm welcomes, serving as ushers and greeters to our Sunday guests.

-- Our Peace and Justice Ministry, led by Rev. Candace, serves with many community groups on projects that care for our people and our world. The ministry offers much education. A big focus this year is the proposed family discrimination amendment to the state constitution.

-- The Music Team, brings much excitement to our worship celebrations. Choir practice is at 9:45 a.m. Sundays. We draw from a beautiful mix of music styles.

-- Our Children's Ministry, led by Jana D., provides an ever-expanding ministry to and with our young people. Children's Church is offered the last Sunday morning of each month.

-- The Multi-Media Team, led by Richard Kiraly, provides video enhancements for our worship celebrations and for leadership development, classes, fellowship, and congregation forums. Also, the Richard Kiraly maintains our web site.
