What is a Lay Delegate? A Lay Delegate is an elected representative of Garden of Grace United Church of Christ (GOGUCC) authorized to vote on Business conducted at the GA/SC Association, the Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ (SECUCC), and at the General Synod of the United Church of Christ (UCC).
The current Lay Delegate, Charles Joye attends SECUCC Annual Meetings and GA/SC Association Meetings on behalf of GOGUCC.
